PRESS RELEASE - DELSOL Avocats advised CDC (Banque des Territoires), BNP Paribas and invESS Île-de-France in the context of Merci Julie’s fundraising

DELSOL Avocats advised CDC (Banque des Territoires), BNP Paribas and invESS Île-de-France, an investment fund managed by ESFIN GESTION, on the €2.3 million fundraising by Merci Julie (SAS SENIORALIS).

Merci Julie, a socially responsible company, is a pioneer in the field of home adaptations and tailor-made support services for the elderly and disabled.

Merci Julie has developed a range of complementary services covering the entire home adaptation value chain, from the upstream diagnostic phase and formulation of recommendations to the implementation of appropriate solutions. The offer combines (i) the provision of a "total package" for the beneficiaries, thanks to an in-house organisation based on occupational therapists, social workers and building technicians, and (ii) the presence of a single point of contact to coordinate the services, which reassures the beneficiaries.

This fundraising will enable Merci Julie to accelerate the deployment of its services and its regional expansion, so that within 5 years it will be assisting around 100,000 beneficiaries, including 65,000 elderly people, 22,000 carers and 12,000 health professionals.

In the context of this transaction, DELSOL Avocats advised the investors with a multidisciplinary team including :

  • Philippe MALIKIAN, partner, Pierre TOURRET and Rémy DURAND, associates, on corporate aspects ;
  • Brice BRIEL, partner, and Kassia PICHANICK, associate, on employment issues ;
  • Julien MONSENEGO, partner, and Lakshmi CANEVY, associate, on tax aspects.
