E-RECYCLE, a player in the circular economy, recycles electronic products (mainly smartphones, PCs, tablets and consoles), with the aim of reducing programmed obsolescence and extending product life. The company has just closed a €1.5 million fund-raising round led by Demeter, via the Fonds d’Amorçage Industriel Métropolitain (FAIM) Lyon/Saint-Etienne, alongside the Fonds Souverain Auvergne Rhône-Alpes created at the initiative of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region and managed by the FRI (Siparex Group) in partnership with the MEDEF Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Demeter, a major European player in private equity for the energy and ecological transition, supports companies in the sector at all stages of their development.

The Fonds Souverain Auvergne Rhône-Alpes is the result of a public-private partnership involving major regional economic players (Bpifrance, Fonds de Relance Etat Région, Groupe Crédit Agricole, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne, Banque Populaire AURA, Groupama, Apicil, l’Auxiliaire, SNF, Medef, UIMM, etc.).

Thanks to this fund-raising, E-RECYCLE intends to accelerate the industrialisation of its reconditioning line by automating the diagnostic stages to reach an annual capacity of more than 40,000 reconditionings within 3 years, thus establishing itself as a structuring player that will also be a militant for a fast-growing industry that must prioritise sustainability.
