In the journal Jurisprudence Sociale Lamy on 24 March 2017, Philippe PACOTTE, a partner in the "Employment Law – Social Welfare Law" department, and Raphaëlle LEROY, lawyer, commented on a decision of the Court of Cassation recognizing protected employee status for employees that are members of joint committees created by collective agreement. As a result, an employer considering dismissal of these employees must seek prior authorization from the labour inspectorate.
