In its 9 January 2018 issue, Le Progrès, in its Actu Lyon section, looks at the annulment by the Lyon Administrative Court on 21 December 2017, of the building permit issued by the City to LCH Invest, which authorizes LCH Invest to elevate the La Canadienne building on Quai Victor-Augagneur. Fifteen residents represented by Renaud-Jean CHAUSSADE, a partner in the "Public Law" department, in collaboration with Jennifer PEREIRA, appealed to the Lyon Administrative Court for the annulment of a building permit issued by the City on the grounds that the project to elevate the La Canadienne building would result in a loss of sunshine and visibility as well as spoiling Quai Victor-Augagneur. In a decision handed down on 21 December 2017, the Administrative Court of Lyon granted the application and annulled the contested building permit, rejecting the arguments raised by the defendants, and in particular that of "social mix".
