DELSOL Avocats advised CDC (Banque des Territoires) on the joint creation with the digital technology operator Hub One of a platform for sharing, exploiting and enhancing airport data, Hub One Datatrust.
This joint platform is marketed by a subsidiary of Hub One, which is also called Hub One DataTrust. The Hub One DataTrust offering aims to facilitate the processing and sharing of data within the same ecosystem by setting up a common platform to facilitate the exchange of data and its monetisation by third parties.
Hub One DataTrust’s service offering enables air transport data to be shared or commercialised. In a second phase, Hub One DataTrust will open up its services to other business sectors, in particular ports and logistics.
The aim is also to meet the challenges of the European DGA (Data Governance Act) regulations, which aim to regulate the future data-sharing market through the fundamental principles of security, neutrality, sovereignty and ethics.
Philippe MALIKIAN, partner, advised CDC (Banque des Territoires) on the corporate aspects of the transaction.
