DELSOL Avocats advised the HESUS group, headed by Emmanuel CAZENEUVE, on the acquisition by BRGM subsidiary SAGEOS of a stake in the capital of SOLTRACING.

SOLTRACING, founded in 2015 by HESUS and the Flemish Construction Federation, offers a comprehensive traceability and safety solution for excavated earth for all those playing a part in the excavated earth value chain. Thanks to its preventive approach, SOLTRACING reduces the risk of environmental harms arising from pollution of a reception site due to the re-use of excavated earth.

The BRGM, France’s geological survey, is the public body responsible for managing surface and subsurface resources and risks, under the oversight of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, and the Ministry of the Economy and Finances.

The BRGM’s acquisition of a holding in SOLTRACING, accompanied by significant reinvestment by HESUS, unites the robustness and expertise of a reference public-sector player with the agility of SOLTRACING.
