PRESS RELEASE – DELSOL Avocats advises C’est qui le patron ?! on the launch of its solidarity fund in response to the Covid-19 pandemic

DELSOL Avocats advised C’est qui le patron ?!, a cooperative brand founded by consumers for consumers in 2016 on principles of crowdsourcing and transparency, on the launch of its Consumers and Citizens’ Solidarity Fund.

Consumer-driven brand C’est qui le patron ?! has seen sales of its staple food products take off since the beginning of lockdown, as have other food-sector brands and distributors. On the strength of this, and after balloting its 10,000 members, the collective decided to divert all the additional earnings generated as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic into a solidarity fund to provide direct assistance to those in difficulty as a result of the crisis or who had put themselves at risk in the interests of society as a whole. C’est qui le patron ?! called on the rest of the food manufacturing and retailing sector to sign up to this initiative, and has already had initial positive responses from Carrefour and Panzani.

C’est qui le patron ?! was advised on the setup and launch of its solidarity fund by a DELSOL Avocats team consisting of Pierre GOUGÉ, partner and co-head of the Corporate - Mergers & Acquisitions Department and associate Anaïs FAURY, along with Alexis BECQUART, partner and co-head of the Non-Profit – Social & Solidarity-based Entrepreneurship Department, and legal advisor Sarah FARHAT.
